MONTHLY FIGURES – RETURN TO ROWING

Thanks to all those who completed – 59 clubs to date. Please can those that have not do so asap, you have been emailed a reminder. We will then publish the information next week for all.

We are all aware that the current situation has implications on our sport. Whilst some clubs have returned to rowing, some were waiting to see what September brought, others are still undecided and or not returning to the water until 2021.

Currently, we need to be able to access data to show the effect or not on our sport. So, we are asking ALL clubs to complete a simple survey once a month. It will be opened for the first week of each month.
This needs to be completed only once by an official of the club. Please complete using the following link – Quick Survey
Questions:
Club
Has your club been rowing since the 1st of the month?
How many crews / bubbles are rowing?
Who are rowing: Men / Women / Juniors?
COVID UPDATE

FRom the 24th September, club are also required to display an official NHS QR code to support NHS Test and Trace. Leisure and Tourism – Clubs providing team sporting activities. You do need to have the code even if it is people accessing the club / shed / container to work on the gigs make use of equipment.

You can create your own Club NHS QR code using the link. PLEASE NOTE this is in addition to your club’s own track and trace, not instead of.

Some clubs have now decided that they are suspending rowing for various reasons. This is entirely the decision of the clubs and although it might not be something that an individual member wants, it has been done with the best of intentions and therefore please support your committee at a difficult time.

All clubs need to ensure that they have procedures in place should a member test positive for Covid who has been actively rowing / interacting with the club membership. In the event of this, what are the steps that would be taken and how are you going to ensure that the necessary members / community know?
The Covid advice / guidance can be found on the CPGA Website Covid page.
